To honor and perpetuate the Hawaiian culture, the Nā Hōkū O Hawai`i Music Festival will provide this site with programs, information, articles, pictures, and music that speak about the first peoples of Hawai`i, their traditions, language, cultural practices, and way of life. We recognize and honor them for all that we have today. We remember the foundation they laid for the generations that followed and we continue to seek wisdom from them. We are committed to educating the world on who they were.

Today, Hawai`i is inhabited by a diverse mix of ethnicities. As we celebrate this diversity in our music, food and contemporary ways of living, we are committed to remembering those who first settled on these islands and their descendents who continue to mālama `āina as they did.
